UGV guards a strategic radar station
1. SITUATION
The strategic radar station is used to monitor the airspace above the central Baltic Sea. Due to the increasing threat of hybrid warfare from the east, including GPS jamming, cyber attacks and disinformation, there is a risk of sabotage attempts by enemy special forces. The area is vulnerable to maritime access.
2. MISSION
A security team will set up and monitor a semi-autonomous field post in order to secure the radar station for 96 hours. The aim is to detect intruders early, deter them, and defend against them if necessary using UGVs and a VTOL drone. Action is only taken in accordance with ROE after approval.
